Roles and rights in NEN Connect
-
What is a company administrator?
The company administrator has full control over the compilation and settings of your standards collection, and who is allowed to use it. Users can only request standards. The administrator decides whether they will be added and to which collection.
-
What is a user?
There are two types of users: free users and users linked to a company account. You have access to all the bibliographic data of the standards in the Core assortment and see the freely available standards in full. If you are linked to a company, you can also view your company's standards and request standards that are not yet in the collections.
-
What is an expert?
An expert is almost the same as a user linked to a company. There are two differences: you can create, build & manage subcollections, and you can comment on standards that can be read by all your colleagues.
-
How can I see what role I have?
You can see your role in NEN Connect under your account name at the top, after logging in. It says either ‘Administrator’, ‘Expert’ or left blank. In the latter case, you are a (free) user.
