Aerospace series - Cables, electrical, aircraft use - Test methods - Part 812: Return loss (VSWR)

This document specifies methods for measuring return loss respectively voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR), in the required frequency range of coaxial cables. The return loss is used for quantifying the level of the reflected signal due to an impedance mismatch between the cable and the reference impedance and due to structural variations of the impedance along the cable. It is intended to be used together with EN 3475-100 and EN 50289-1-11.
