Radioacivity measurements - Determination of the activity concentration of iodine in ambient air

This standard describes a method for sampling radioactive iodine compounds in outdoor air for radioactivity measurements. The activity of the sampled iodine compounds is measured, after which the activity concentration of the iodine compounds in the sampled air is calculated. This standard applies to outside air. Iodine compounds bound to aerosols, gaseous elemental iodine and gaseous organic iodine compounds are selectively sampled on three different filters placed one behind the other.
