Release notes October 2020

To make managing and working with NEN Connect easier we have rolled out a new release. Apart from several buxfixes, we have implemented several improvements in NEN Connect.

Do you have questions, comments or suggestion? Please let us know.

New: Company favorite

In once glance show your colleagues which specific document of a standard the company uses. Make your account even more focused on your organization by adding standards to your company favorites. With the help of this filter option you can easily find in the search results the standards with a document that your company has designated as the favorite document. This ensures that everyone is working with the correct document. This does not necessarily have to be the most current version.

Who decide the company favorites?

New: The option to no longer display draft standards to users

Company admins now have, on the page with the license details, the option to block access to draft standards for users of that license. This way they can avoid users to consult the wrong version of a standard.

Go to:

  • My company >
  • Licenses >
  • click on the name of the license >
  • License details

Enhancements to the Law and Regulations tab

With the release of June 2020, we had connected standards with Laws and Regulations on the standard detail page. This allows you to see which laws refer to the standard. With the current release, we have made three enhancements.

On the tab with Legislation and Regulations we have added:

  • a message to indicate that withdrawn referrals the situation was as of January 1, 2020 (previously revoked referrals are not shown).
  • an explanation about standards that have been withdrawn but are still referred to by law.
  • a shortcut menu, in order for you to quickly jump to all references from a specific regulation
